Mr M Nachimuthu, popularly known as MN Sir, 66 years old, is a veteran entrepreneur. He displayed his sense of entrepreneurship in 1965 by starting an electrical business, in 1972 by starting financing business, and finally in 1978 he launched Atlas Export Enterprises. A man of perfection, with an eagle’s eye for detail, he made Atlas one of the leading and successful organizations in Karur exporting to all developed countries. His spirit of entrepreneurship has been growing. He has just taken a dealership in petroleum products in Karur.He is now Vice-Chairman, HEPC, Chennai, President, Kongu Educational Trust, Karur. He has been a representative of the industry in the Textiles Committee, member of the Executive Committee of the Handloom Export Promotion Council and served as The Treasurer of the Karur Textile Manufacturer Exporters’ Association for one and half a decade. In addition to this he is heading the dream project of Home Textile called”Karur Textile Park Limited” as its Chairman & Managing Director, a nodal centre for Home Textile to the Nation.
