PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE: 

My dear Fellow members, indeed it is my pleasure to see you all in the august gathering in connection with our 34^th Annual General Meeting of our premier association. First, I would like to record my sincere appreciation to all of you to extend your full co-operation during my tenure and its functioning. In precise, I shall point out some of the initiatives through our association we made and organize lots of meeting with Central Excise Officials and find some solution to Service Tax issues. Especially, I should thank Mr.Arun Thangam for helping us in lobbying and representing our concern to the departments and Ministry. 

Apart from this we have organized Reach Certificiation, Organic Cotton Certification, OEKOTEX-100 certification programmes in association with Textile Committee, Karur. 

Our Association has been taking effort for the remarkable work done across its value chain and in association with Karur Textile Forum and representing our various issues to the concerned ministries and the departments. We have the responsibility of defining, creating and bench marking to our Home Textile Products to the trade growth. Indeed, it is our responsibility and value of each of our fellow member’s potential through their brands, we create, services, we offer in the beauty and wellness to our products to compete in the global trade.

I believe the purpose, of an organization has to go beyond functionality and profits to define why we really exist in the market; it is something that is true to our CULTURE, UNIQUENESS to our PRODUCTS distinctly. Yet profitable to our business. It is very much inevitable given a voice to this purpose for our future growth and be more every day. 

Thank you for placing your faith on me during my tenure. I look forward your continued support  and co-operation to our board members as well.
